Chef Claudio Urciuoli hired Monomyth Studio to design a website for his new restaurant concept, Pa’la. Each day, Pa’la cooks dishes based on the best ingredients available. Our goal was to create a site on par with the culinary integrity of the restaurant.

The final design highlights key ingredients from the foundation of every dish: extra virgin olive oil, vinegar, and sea salt. Since the restaurant (and website) speak for themselves, it was crucial we featured fresh and vibrant imagery. Photographer Constance Mariena and I spent a day at the restaurant capturing its unique proposition and offerings.

Monomyth was approached by Chef Claudio Urciuoli to design a website for his new restaurant concept, Pa’la. Each day, Pa'la cooks dishes determined by the best materials available. The task was to create a site that would speak to the culinary integrity of Pa'la.

What we did was highlight key ingredients that are at the foundation of every dish, extra virgin olive oil, vinegar, and sea salt. 

Since the site had little to say, it was important to include vibrant imagery. Photographer Constance Mariena and I spent a day at the restaurant capturing this unique experience.
