Sauvage is a top-quality, casual wine shop offering a daily selection of 40 rotating bottles. When the client approached our team at Monomyth Studio, it was clear that the shop’s essence is personified by the owner himself. He is a charismatic, vinyl-loving wine expert who just wants people to enjoy what they are drinking. To illustrate this, we designed a modern, welcome, and sincere brand.
I worked closely with the client to bring his vision to life, designing a cohesive system that extends from the logo to the retail space. The hand-drawn mark takes a cue from the name Sauvage, which is French for natural. Paired with a subdued color palette, the brand aims to convey sophisticated sincerity.
For the interior space, we relied on natural elements like the custom wood furniture and white cork wall.
